No Music for Genocide: Press Conference

Following the launch of the campaign “Malta: No Music for Genocide” by Moviment Graffitti, a press conference and national protest are set to take place in the coming days. The campaign has been endorsed by MEIA, Ġustizzja għall-Palestina, The Lebanese Advocates, and The Watermelon Warriors.

The initiative calls for accountability and challenges Malta’s role in what organisers describe as complicity in genocide through cultural whitewashing and political silence. Through this campaign, organisers are urging institutions and cultural actors to take a clear stand against injustice.

The press conference will formally present the campaign, outline its demands, and explain the reasons behind the mobilisation.
